LetsFlySims began with two boys, a dream of flying, and a dad determined to help them reach it.
Russ Isaacson—a CPA, entrepreneur, and father of seven—has always loved two things: building things from scratch and helping families succeed. His sons, Zachary and Benjamin, caught the aviation bug early. Introduced to Microsoft Flight Simulator by their grandpa, they logged hours of virtual flight long before they were old enough to take the controls of a real aircraft.
As the boys got older and set their sights on becoming airline pilots, the Isaacsons were hit with a tough reality: flight training is expensive—often overwhelmingly so. Russ began searching for a smarter, more affordable way to give his kids a real shot at the skies.
That’s when the Isaacsons were introduced to Captain Eldon Corry (aka Captain Corry).
With over 40 years in aviation, 22,000+ flight hours, and a deep love for mentoring the next generation, Eldon had already founded LetsFly.org—the largest aircraft cooperative in the U.S.—to make plane ownership more accessible. He had a heart for helping young people succeed in aviation and a vision for using simulator-based training and leadership education to do it.
Together, Russ and Eldon launched LetsFlySims.com—a mission-driven venture to make aviation achievable for anyone with the passion to pursue it.
